Honors Capstone Symposium: Advancing Environmental Justice in Cities

You are invited to the sixth annual Capstone Symposium of the Society, Policy and Citizenship track of University Honors. Coffee, tea and snacks will be served.

This year's symposium, Advancing Environmental Justice in Cities, will feature data-informed public policy proposals to address environmental justice challenges relating to air quality, asthma, toxic pollution and transportation issues in four cities: Fresno, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Providence.

The 13 students who are completing the Society, Policy and Citizenship track in the University Honors Program have put a great deal of work into their projects and are looking forward to sharing their findings and demonstrating their skills advocating for policy action.
