McGoldrick Scholarship
Children and grandchildren of SU alumni are eligible for the McGoldrick Scholarship, fostering the legacy of an SU education in many families and generations.
Office of Fellowships
The Office of Fellowships supports Seattle University alumni in applying for prestigious scholarship opportunities. Complete application advising services for scholarships that fund post-baccalaureate and graduate programs are available to university alumni. We can help you select fellowships, guide you in the process of writing personal statements and grant proposals, conduct practice interviews, and connect you to faculty who can help you through the process.

A few of the fellowships we can support you on include:
Fulbright U.S. Student
Covers academic, living & travel expenses for 1 year to study, research, or teach abroad in over 150 countries
Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
Gives up to $50,000 a year for up to 6 years to pursue graduate study
Gates-Cambridge Scholarship
Covers academic, living & travel expenses for post-baccalaureate study at Cambridge
Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford
Covers academic & living expenses for graduate study at Oxford
Boren Fellowship (NSEP)
Gives up to $30,000 towards graduate study in languages and cultures outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarships
Gives up to $24,000 to study abroad and be a goodwill ambassador
Critical Language Scholarships for Intensive Summer Institutes
Covers all cost to study critical languages abroad in the summer. (Critical languages include: Arabic, Bengla/Bengali, Hindu, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu, Chinese, Korean, Persian, Russian, and Azerbaijani)
Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) German Academic Exchange Service
Information on a variety of abroad opportunities in Germany. Opportunities include Undergraduate Scholarships and Post-Baccalaureate Research.
Alumni MBNA MasterCard

Alaska USA Credit Programs
This program offers financial products and services at attractive rates for SU alumni, including consumer checking, savings and investments, affordable loans and mortgages. You can log onto www.alaskausa.org for member services.
Alumni Insurance Program
Seattle University's Alumni Relations partners with Alumni Insurance Program to help alumni with a variety of health insurance products and group term life insurance plans, whether you need basic protection or want to supplement coverage you already have.

SU's office of Alumni Relations is happy to provide new graduates and alumni under age 65 with access to GradMed, an affordable and comprehensive short-term health insurance. GradMed is ideal for covering the gap between when insurance coverage through a parent's policy or student health insurance ends and when coverage through a new employer or other sources begin.
