African American Alumni Chapter
Mission
The Seattle University African American Alumni Chapter serves as a communication link between African-American alumni, current African-American students, and faculty and staff of the University. Through the Chapter, Alumni will have the opportunity to meet and share ideas and experiences with other African-American alumni of Seattle University.
Developing Goals/Purpose for the African American Alumni Chapter:
- 1. To provide an effective organization for African-American Alumni to gather, network and build community
- 2. To ensure that all African-American students of Seattle University have a positive culturally diverse experience at Seattle University
- 3. To promote Seattle University's rich history with the African-American community and work toward enhancing it for future generations

Costco Scholars Alumni Chapter
Mission
The Seattle University Costco Scholars Alumni Chapter serves as a communication link between Costco Scholars Alumni of Seattle University, current Costco Scholar students, faculty and staff of the University, and professional and community leaders with ties to the Costco Wholesale Corporation. Through the Chapter, alumni will also have the opportunity to meet and share ideas and experiences with other Costco Scholars Alumni of Seattle University.
Developing Goals/Purpose for the Costco Scholars Alumni Chapter:
- To provide an effective organization for Costco Scholars Alumni to gather, network and build community
- To ensure that all Costco Scholar students of Seattle University have a positive culturally diverse experience at Seattle University
- To provide role models and advisers to Costco Scholar students of Seattle University
- To build alumni pride in SU and highlight the institutional identity
- To facilitate the building and growth of relationships among alumni
- To engage alumni as volunteer leaders in activities which support the university's mission and goals
- To offer alumni opportunities to engage in activities which help to support their personal and professional goals
- To provide insight to Seattle University's Alumni Board of Governors on the Costco Scholar alumni and student perspectives

Mission
The Chapter seeks to facilitate the building and growth of relationships among alumni who have graduated from the EDLR program, with a focus on providing opportunities to engage in activities which help to support their personal and professional goals.

Mission
The Seattle University Filipino Alumni Chapter serves as a communication link between Filipino Alumni of Seattle University, current Filipino students, and the faculty and staff of the University. Through the Chapter, alumni will also have the opportunity to meet and share ideas and experiences with other Filipino Alumni of Seattle University.
Developing Goals/Purpose for the Filipino Alumni Chapter:
- To provide an effective organization for Filipino Alumni to gather, network and build community
- To ensure that all Filipino students of Seattle University have a positive culturally diverse experience at Seattle University
- To provide role models and advisers to Filipino students of Seattle University
- To promote Seattle University's rich history within the Filipino community and work toward enhancing it for future generations of Filipinos
- To build alumni pride in SU and highlight the institutional identity
- To facilitate the building and growth of relationships among alumni
- To engage alumni as volunteer leaders in activities which support the university's mission and goals
- To offer alumni opportunities to engage in activities which help to support their personal and professional goals
- To provide insight to Seattle University's Alumni Board of Governors on the Filipino alumni and student perspectives
While accomplishing these goals, the Filipino Alumni Chapter will focus on four areas:
- Signature Event - To coordinate an annual event that will raise funds for Filipino/Filipino American student scholarships.
- Social - To coordinate social opportunities for alumni, students, faculty and staff to interact and network with each other.
- Service - To provide opportunities for alumni to serve their cultural, local and global communities.
- Mentoring - To support current students and new graduates on their holistic development during their SU experience and after graduation.
