Building on tremendous momentum from Other Jello (2006) and Wandering Bear (2007), Maureen Whiting Company's third year in residence promises another exciting world premiere and further insight into the creation of contemporary dance. The Maureen Whiting Dance Company is committed to the creation and performance of contemporary dance work. Inspired by the rawness and beauty of life, the company seeks to deepen audinece experience of performing arts and aims to enrich the field of 21st century dance and performance.
Experience the creation of dance by attending the company's two work-in-progress showings on November 30 and December 1 at 7 p.m. in the Vachon Room (located in the Fine Arts Building); and March 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. in the Vachon Room.
And then see the world premiere dance performance in spring 2008:
May 29 to June 8, Thursday-Sunday at 8 p.m. in the Lee Center for the Arts. |
