Major and Minor: Psychology Major

Aicha Toure (pronounced aye-ee-shah two-ray, she/her/hers) identifies as a multiracial (Black and White) Lutheran woman. She is an outstanding student ranking first in her class of 428 students. Aicha has pursued a full lB curriculum at Kent-Meridian. A spotless academic record and that level of rigor is a rare feat indeed. Aicha has a passion for spoken word poetry. Her application essay was a very moving spoken word piece called "Reality Check". Aicha's record of leadership and involvement is amongst the most lengthy and dynamic amongst this year's Sullivan pool. She is the Co-President of Civil Rights Club and Model UN, the chair of the youth and family committee at Kent Lutheran Church, a leader in the City of Kent's After School Energy program, and a Climate Justice Ambassador. Aicha's post-college ambition is to study the law.
