Nicky graduated from Sentinel High School in Missoula, MT. He was the JV coach and honorary team captain for the Speech and Debate team, Co-President of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance, and Student Director of his High School Choir Program. He worked as a diversity trainer with the Missoula Chapter of the National Coalition Building Institute which is dedicated to moving individuals, communities and organizations toward a just and inclusive society through training to reduce prejudice, prevent violence and resolve conflict. He received the Youth Achievement Award for his mentoring work in schools.
