Migration is a natural response to social, economic, political, and environmental dynamics that affect border communities in unique ways. Located in Nogales, Sonora Mexico and Nogales, Arizona, US, Kino Border Initiative [https://www.kinoborderinitiative.org/] accompanies migrants on their journey. This variable credit course immerses you in the complexities of migration in the borderlands, with a focus on making humane, just, workable migration between the US and Mexico a reality. Most of the program fee is a donation to support the organization’s work.
