The Graduate Certificate in Marketing provides the context for professional roles that marketing plays in serving the greater community.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Understand and be able to apply marketing concepts such as principles of segmentation, targeting, positioning and differentiation as keys to marketing strategy. 
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for stakeholders, including customers as well as clients, partners, and society at large.

Applicants must have:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience 
  • (Optional) Official scores from the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Records Examination (GRE)

Certificate Requirements

This certificate requires 15 credit hours of graduate courses.

Three required courses (9 credits)

  • MKTG 5170: Marketing Strategy *
  • MKTG 5305: Marketing Research
  • MKTG 5330: Brand Management

Choose two of the following courses (6 credits)
