Program of Study

Our Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) DNP program is a 3-year full-time program for students entering the program with a BSN or Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion (APNI) to DNP students who have successfully completed the pre-licensure program of study.

During the first year of advanced practice coursework, BSN-DNP and APNI-DNP students have a different program of study. In year two and three, all courses are taken together.

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner DNP program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE): 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC, 20001; 202-887-6791; https://www.aacnnursing.org/ccne-accreditation.

Program of study shown is based on 2025-2026 AY. Programs of study and course sequencing may change periodically due to state and national certification changes. All courses begin with prefix NURS.
