Hall of Valor

In honor of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Cadets salute while placing flowers in cemetery for Memorial Day

Major General Patrick in dress uniform in front of American flagMajor General Patrick H. Brady is the most distinguished Officer commissioned by this Battalion. He graduated from Seattle University in 1959. MG Brady was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions while serving in the Republic of Vietnam as a helicopter pilot.  Subsequently, the Cadet Battalion at Seattle University was renamed the Major General Patrick H. Brady Battalion in his honor.

Also in his honor, the Brady Battalion has created a "Hall of Valor,” commemorating Seattle University alumni who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This memorial is located in the ROTC office, and it provides a legacy for current ROTC Cadets.
