Steps for Admitted First-Year Students

  • Check out events and opportunities for Admitted Students.
  • Activate your mySeattleU Account (found within your Redhawk Admissions Portal)
  • Your Financial Offer Letter will be available via your Redhawk Admissions Portal within seven days of receiving your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Submit your Admissions Response Form to confirm your enrollment to Seattle University.
  • A $500 confirmation deposit is required of all new first-year students admitted to Seattle University for Fall Quarter.
  • Winter and Spring applicants are not required to pay a confirmation deposit.
  • The confirmation deposit is not an additional fee; it will apply toward your first tuition bill.

Virtual Financial Aid Counseling

Connect with a Student Financial Services Representative to learn more about the financial aid process and to get answers to your questions. One-on-one virtual appointments with Financial Aid Counselors are available after Financial Aid Offer Letters are sent to admitted students.

First Year Orientation

All new first-year Seattle University students participate in Orientation to launch their education, get to know other students and have some fun before classes start.

Additional Steps for International Students

Seattle University welcomes a diverse and international student body to our campus. If you are an international student, please follow the additional steps below to complete your enrollment:

  • Provide a copy of your admission letter for your visa interview if seeking a student visa.
  • Check-in with our International Student Center (ISC) upon arrival.
  • Attend required ISC Welcome Workshop.
