Department of Kinesiology

Producing tomorrow’s leaders in sport, exercise and health.

Empowering leadership through exercise

Grounded in the motto, "Exercise for Life, Exercise for Everyone," our students explore and support the positive effects on the whole person.

We promote physical activity on campus through events and provide education and guidance to students and faculty about physical activity and the health benefits associated with leading a physically active lifestyle. Our efforts have been recognized by the American College of Sports Medicine, awarding silver status to our Exercise is Medicine On Campus program.
