Mentoring Objectives & Scope
We start by understanding your goals -- what you want to learn and the skills you want to develop. We'll use your goals and interests to build an agenda of supporting activities for the year. I'll be available to you as part of our mentoring cohort and 1x1.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
We'll meet monthly (60-90 min). My flexible schedule allows me to work with students on a mutually agreeable time to meet. We'll do the first meeting in person at a coffee shop near campus. After that we can do a mix of in-person and virtual depending on student preference.
Additional Information
My approach is to be a resource and thought partner, helping you gain skills and perspective that will serve you throughout your professional career and community leadership. Mentoring works best when you openly share what you want to achieve, give advance thought to our monthly topics, and engage actively in our sessions together.
