Mentoring Objectives & Scope
I really enjoy working with students to leverage their education and experience into a fulfilling career. Meetings I have facilitated in the past include resume reviews, mock interviews, job searches, arranging informational interviews, networking, discussions on navigating corporate culture, business etiquette/communication and tours of various PACCAR facilities. Students can expect to meet five to six times over the year. The first meeting focuses on setting objectives for the year and getting to know one another. I expect students to take an active role in planning and determining discussion topics, and then show up prepared to get the most out of the mentoring experience.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
