Background

Job Description

I work with utility and energy companies across the United States and Canada to develop powered sites for the largest energy consumers. My role is focused on finding innovative ways to finance and develop new transmission and generation resources to serve datacenter and advanced manufacturing companies.

Company Description

We work with innovative utilities to site new load in the locations that make the most sense from a power flow and emissions reduction perspective. We are the accountable partner throughout the siting and development process, and sell the land when its ready-to-construct. Cloverleaf secures the land and serves as the customer of record through the load interconnection process and energy infrastructure build out. We provide the financial resources, energy industry knowledge, and customer relationships to unlock new sites for large energy consumers.

Employment History

I spent most of my 20's snowboarding and enjoying the outdoors. When I was 29 years old, I started working as an Energy Trader at The Energy Authority. I was attracted to the role because I wanted to learn more about how the energy industry worked. That lead to a role at Seattle City Light.

After 6 years of working as an Energy Trader I was craving more opportunities to expand my knowledge base. Thats when I found job postings for roles at Microsoft and AWS for energy team members. In 2016, I started working at Microsoft, at that time the company was shifting from a business defined by software sales to a cloud-based business. My team was part of the Cloud Operations and Innovations organization dedicated to developing the global infrastructure that is the internet.

In July 2024, I moved to Cloverleaf Infrastructure to help drive a new approach to datacenter siting and energy procurement. Our company is a private equity backed business focused on developing new campuses for the largest loads.
