The Manager, Program Management, Financial Applications is responsible for leading a team of Program Managers, IT Application Analysts, Software Developers/Engineers, and Technical Writers to support and enhance current custom financial applications, both third-party and in-house. This role ensures that production support for financial close-impacting systems is maintained, with a focus on root cause analysis and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: * Lead a team of Program Managers, IT Application Analysts, Software Developers/Engineers, and Technical Writers. * Ensure the team supports and enhances current custom financial applications, including third-party and in-house solutions. * Oversee production support for financial close-impacting systems, including root cause analysis and issue resolution. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: * Evaluate organizational needs and recommend new software development technologies and processes. * Establish and maintain software development standards and processes, participating in requirement gathering, functional designs, technical designs, architectural reviews, and core platform enhancements. Portfolio Management: * Oversee tactical planning and day-to-day management of portfolios, including portfolio financials, prioritization, and assignment of program managers, project managers, and scrum masters (both direct and contracted resources). * Develop and maintain roadmaps that illustrate in-flight and planned projects for multiple portfolios, highlighting known project dependencies and synergies. Vendor and Compliance Management: * Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and processing. * Oversee annual operational and financial planning and quarterly forecasting efforts for applications. * Ensure global compliance controls for all Accounting-owned applications, establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Reporting and Communication: * Produce timely, transparent, and informative program and project status reports, as well as quarterly updates. * Lead the Global Consumer Privacy Program, driving business and executive leader reviews, aligning teams toward coherent strategies, and implementing technical solutions. * Manage the Adobe Workfront platform as a strategic product owner, leading a team of product experts for configuration, upgrades, resource allocation, change management, and user support.

In my free time, I'm an avid pellet smoker and enjoy exploring new cooking techniques. I also have a passion for discovering restaurants and capturing the experience via photography - sharing discoveries. Outside of work, I have been actively involved in providing free tax services during 'the season'. It's incredibly rewarding work that aligns with my values of giving back and creating positive change. On a personal note, I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker and decided to expand my family later in my career - the adrenaline rush a toddler bring is like nothing else! I'm always up for trying new experiences that push me out of my comfort zone.
