Volunteer Opportunities

The IEC is a self-sustaining program and we rely on our many volunteers to keep our programs running, as well as grants and contributions from supporters to fund those programs; supporters like you. Make a gift to support the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders (select the designation that starts with "Innovation.")

Volunteer Opportunities are available throughout the academic year. Note: Previous volunteer experience with the IEC or business expertise required.

Screening Round Judge

Evaluate 2 business plans (online), option for more plans to judge.

Team Coach

Guide a team as they prepare for the Semi-Finals Round.

Fast Pitch Judge (Semi-Finals, Part A)

Judge the 12 Semi-Finalist teams presenting their two-minute elevator pitches to determine which team moves to the Finals round.

Trade Show Judge (Semi-Finals, Part B)

Evaluate each team's booth at the Trade Show.

Coach the Four Finalist teams to craft the ten-minute investment-style pitches for the Final presentations.

Jones Idea Challenge Reverse Pitch Competition

Team Coach

Coach undergraduate students from ideation a solution to the intrapreneurial problem presented by an organization with current problems to solve (five weeks).

Jones Progress Awards Alumni Accelerator

Business Coach

Coach our alumni entrepreneurs guiding them towards the big goals to take their business to the next level to win the cash prize.
