About this Course

Alongside efficiency, economy, and effectiveness, social equity is the fourth pillar of public administration. Social equity concerns span all public service. From budgeting and finance to social infrastructures of communities, equity considerations must infuse benchmarks by which programs are assessed. Thus, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work is integral to public administration. This course will give students to tools and theory to build individual and organizational competence for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
