About this Course

This course will follow the development of public policy using homelessness as a case study. It will consider the ethical/ moral dilemmas associated with homelessness and the tension between justice for the individual versus justice for the community and Introductionduce the principal source materials for current homelessness policies. Additionally it will examine key currents of NGO advocacy, internal government advocacy and public controversy in shaping the development of public policy.
