About this Course

This course examines the methods and curriculum demonstrated to be effective for students with learning disorders. Topics will include understanding of language and reading acquisition, development and understanding of numeracy skills, and how to assess these skills and identify areas of need. Students will learn culturally appropriate methods to gather data and assess students' needs to identify and develop interventions. Requisites may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
