About this Course
Facilitates the development of student knowledge of ethical principles, professional codes and decision making capacity. Course will explore legal statutes impacting counselor behavior, examples of malpractice and risk management strategies for maintaining a healthy and vibrant counselor practice in school, mental health and addiction settings. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
