Certificate in Leadership Formation
At CEIE, we are introducing new certificate-bearing courses in cooperation with regional to international partners. Forthcoming in 2025, CEIE is developing an in-person immersive, intensive certificate opportunity that focuses upon three principal themes. If we imagine this certificate opportunity as a day: 1/3 will focus on spiritual formation; 1/3 will focus on personal formation as a leader; and 1/3 will focus on one’s leadership in the public square.

Seeking Religious Literacy Course
This course aims to enhance your understanding of current religious worldviews, as recognizing others' beliefs is essential to a healthier commons. Religious literacy involves understanding the role of religion in personal, social, political, professional, and cultural life. Join us and increase your cultural and belief-system literacy of people around you every day! Take the course in three ways:

All-Season Offering
Take the course asynchronously, either as an individual or group, with a full year’s access when you start. You sign on and learn whenever you like and learn at a self-pace best suited for your learning style. You'll be able to participate in discussion threads with other students and reflect on the material at your own pace. Used often by busy professionals, or communities who prefer to study together. Cost is $100 USD per student.

A Dynamic Curriculum
We offer a hybrid and a fully virtual curriculum. The hybrid course, starting in Winter 2025, includes five Wednesday sessions from January 22nd to February 19th, with three 90-minute in-person sessions and two online sessions. Alternatively, the fully virtual option provides all meetings with your instructor online for students who prefer to stay entirely in a virtual environment. Cost is $150 USD per student.

CEIE is dedicated to supporting your learning experience. When you register for Seeking Religious Literacy, you can access a low-cost study guide, ideal for both individuals and groups. This guide helps you grasp key course concepts by reviewing course modules. The study guide also features reflection and discussion questions to enhance your understanding and engagement of the material whether you are a facilitator or student.

At the CEIE Leadership Academy, we create useful low-cost resources for use in communities and classrooms. The Response to Violence resource is a multi-media platform that responds to the roots and continued aggravations of violence, and how individuals can respond in ways that heal our shared future. From 2016-2019, CEIE convened scholars, practitioners, and those who have experienced homelessness and shelterlessness, in order to provide background and insights on the complexities of these challenges. This Homelessness Learning Resource invites you, the viewer and listener, into these important conversations for educating both oneself and the community.
