Hannah Brinser, PhD

Biography

Dr. Hannah Brinser is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Online School Counseling Program at Seattle University. Dr. Brinser received a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Idaho State University, a M.A. in School Counseling from Gonzaga University, and a BS in Psychology from Western Washington University. Additionally, she is a Certified School Counselor (ESA-SC WA) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Brinser believes strongly in the unique role and opportunity school counselors have in creating meaningful change within schools and communities. Her research and professional interests include leadership and advocacy in school counseling, school counselor professional identity and professional advocacy issues, and cultivating trauma-informed schools.
