Biography

Biography

Khánh Nguyễn is a child of strong, intelligent, and hardworking Vietnamese immigrants. He is the product of powerful Vietnamese women and men who gave their all to their families and community. From selling nước mắm (Vietnamese fish sauce) and shoes on the side of the streets in Hue and Saigon during the Vietnam War; to instilling words of wisdom to their children and grandchildren while making chả giò (Vietnamese egg roll); their sacrifices helped Khánh be the person who he is today. With their strengths, encouragement, and love, Khánh was able to achieve his dream of receiving a graduate degree in Nonprofit Leadership at Seattle University, and a Doctorate of Education in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco while working in the nonprofit sector for the past 15 years.

As a nonprofit practitioner and scholar, Khánh believes in the power of community and collaboration. He believes that only together will we dismantle racism, sexism, ableism, and other social justice issues for an equitable and just world.
