Biography

Nathan Nguyen, a seasoned financial services leader, held the position of Managing Director, Head of Consumer Bank for the Northwest Region at JPMorgan Chase for nearly seven years. In this pivotal role, he oversaw the comprehensive operations of approximately 250 JPMorgan Chase branches across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Northern California.

Nathan’s key responsibilities included expanding the firm’s deposit and investment share within the region, cultivating a client-centric and employee-driven culture, and fostering strategic partnerships across JPMorgan Chase’s diverse lines of business.

Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in 2018, Nathan had an illustrious 20-year career in financial services leadership at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. During his tenure, he held various high-level leadership positions across Washington, Oregon, and California, including Consumer Market Executive, Area Executive, Sales Performance Executive, Operations Executive, and ultimately, Region Executive.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Nathan has been a dedicated community volunteer and board member. Currently, he holds the position of graduate adjunct professor at Seattle University. He is also a board member of the Albers School of Business at Seattle University. Previously, he served as an Executive Board Member on the Seattle University Board of Regents and co-chair of JPMorgan Chase’s Washington Market Executive Leadership Team. Nathan has actively participated in community development, co-sponsoring several of his previous firms’ Executive Leadership Development and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Program. He has also served on the Seattle March of Dimes and Washington State Mentors boards.

Nathan received his bachelor’s degree and his Executive MBA from Seattle University. He, his wife Diane, and their 3 children, Emma, Luke and Matthew, reside in Sammamish, Washington.
