Earn your special education endorsement at Seattle University campus as part of a master's degree or educational specialist (post-master's) degree. The degree program also offers a post-master's certificate for the endorsement only.

Online Endorsements

For Certified Teachers

Endorsement programs at the College of Education provide certified teachers (with an initial, continuing, professional or residency teaching certificate) with subject knowledge and enhance their skills in teaching and curriculum development. These programs meet the endorsement assessment requirements for Pathway Three set forth by Washington state’s Professional Educators Standards Board (PESB).

Eight online courses offered by the office of Professional & Continuing Education prepares teachers for the state-mandated exam. These courses may be taken for graduate credit and will count as half of the credits toward a master's degree in Special Education.
