The Internship Experience

Internships provide exposure to the practice of Student Development Administration. The SDA program hosts an annual Internship and Networking Fair that brings together 40+ regional leaders in the field to meet with students to offer internship and employment opportunities.

For students who are part-time graduate assistants or full-time practitioners in the field, the internship experience can be personalized to fit their professional and academic goals through specialized work projects that fulfill the internship credits.

Examples of internships include:

  • Seattle Central College – Graduate intern to the President
  • Seattle University Albers Career Center – Career Coach
  • University of Washington -  Residence Life Equity and Inclusion
  • Bellevue College - Grant Development
  • Greater Seattle Business Association - College Scholarship Program Research and Development
  • South Seattle College - Completion Coaching within Guided Pathways/TRIO
  • UW Bothell – Advising and Orientation Program
  • Summer Search Seattle - College Success Fellow

Portfolio
