By booking your next program at Seattle University, you will receive a dedicated event coordinator to assist with nearly all event logistics, intuitively designed event technology systems, efficient parking arrangements, and so much more – all at affordable rates.

Seattle University is home to a variety of beautiful, flexible event and meeting spaces.

Overnight Programs

During the summer months, Seattle University provides the perfect venue for overnight programs.  

  • We Offer Several full packages with housing, meals, catering, facilities, event and activity spaces, and online registration are available to support a wide array of program wants and needs.  
  • Event Management specialists are located on site, and will work with you to help make your program a success.
  • Desk Staff are available in residences to provide guests with assistance, information, and friendly service.

Catering and Dining

Our exclusive campus dining prover, Chartwells, is an award-winning culinary service that focuses on serving food that is not only delicious, but also sustainable, locally sourced, environmentally conscious, and ethically aware.  

  • The Emerald Plate provides catering service at SU. From boxed lunches and buffets to hors d‘oeuvres and plated dinners, the Emerald Plate offers high-quality customized menus for all occasions.
  • Cherry Street Market serves meals food-court style in the Student Center. Overnight programs can choose to have their guests receive a meal card pre-loaded with a selected meal plan.

Internship Housing

Seattle University offers university and college students the option to stay on campus while they attend summer internships in the Seattle area.  

  • Centrally Located in Seattle, with close proximity to tech campuses, restaurants, cultural sites, parks, and public transportation.
  • Accommodations available in residence hall , apartment and apodment layouts with the choice of single or multiple occupancy to suit any budget.
  • Discounts available to interns who choose to stay 42 nights and longer.

Personal Event Assistance

An experienced event logistics coordinator is assigned to every meeting and event to assist with your program logistics. Your coordinator is available to answer questions, offer advice, manage arrangements with service providers, create scale room diagrams, schedule set up and strike of venue spaces, arrange on-site support, and more to ensure you have a smooth and stress-free experience.

Event Technology

Seattle University offers the latest technology in its facilities. Most classrooms and event spaces are technologically set up and ready; others can have equipment delivered upon request. For an hourly fee, a technician may be scheduled during the entire event.

Parking Services

With several different options for registering and paying for parking, event organizers and attendees alike can now look forward to a more efficient event parking experience at Seattle University. Guests may use a convenient smartphone app or kiosks in our lots to pay for parking.

Signage and Printing

Getting around Seattle University is made easy with the abundance of wayfinding and building signage and the large campus maps found throughout the 50-acre campus. For events with more extensive signage needs, we have options available for every budget.

Vendor Arrangements

Our team has cultivated relationships with many third-party event rental and service providers across the city and region, and your coordinator will help manage any rentals you may need. We can request quotes, place orders, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and even make payment arrangements with vendors.

Public Safety

Safety and security oversight for the campus community is provided by the Department of Public Safety (DPS). DPS officers monitor campus buildings and outside areas 24/7 and are trained in a variety of services including first aid, CPR, AED, and de-escalation techniques. For an hourly fee, officers can be scheduled for your program.
