Residence Halls and Apartments

Enjoy comfortable and convenient housing with lots of amenities. In university housing, you’ll belong to a caring community and feel at home.

Students in dorm

At Seattle University,  students are required to live on campus for the first two years or commute from home within the 20 miles limit. Decades of research show that living on campus helps you create connections and succeed in college. We have four modern residence halls for first- and second-year students.

Upper division, graduate and law students may live on campus or find housing off campus. We have two university housing apartments (Murphy Apartments and The Yobi) and two affiliated buildings (The Douglas and Vi Hilbert Hall) available.

For a comprehensive understanding of our housing policies and procedures, we encourage you to review our detailed guidelines. To learn more, please visit our Housing and Resident Life Policies & Procedures page.
