Print Copy Guest Cards

Summary

Non-standard users such as an alumni, university guests, community members, etc. who wish to print must purchase a preloaded guest card from SUperCopy, located in the Garden Level (basement) of the Student Center Pavilion/Bellarmine Hall. For hours, please visit SuperCopy. There is no fee for the card and prints/ copies charge at the standard rates plus tax. For print fees, please visit the Printing homepage.

  1. Change Your Password

    It is important to change your card password as soon as possible after purchase.

    1. Go to https://mpsweb.seattleu.edu (no “www”)
    2. For the username, use “gc-“ plus the card number printed on the back of the card. i.e. If your card number is 123456789, then your username will be gc-123456789
    3. Enter your password (if logging in for the first time, use the password provided in your card packet)
    4. On the left pane, click Change Details.eAccounts-change-details
    5. Enter your new password, then click Change Password
  2. Printing

    As a non-standard user, printing works a little differently than university members. It is possible to print from a USB device or using the web print feature.

  3. Web Printing

    1. Go to https://mpsweb.seattleu.edu (no “www”)
    2. For the username, use “gc-“ plus the card number printed on the back of the card. i.e. If your card number is 123456789, then your username will be gc-123456789
    3. Enter your password (if logging in for the first time, use the password provided in your card packet)

    4. On the left pane, click Web Print.
    5. Click Submit a job.
    6. Enter number of copies and click Upload Documents.
    7. Click Upload from computer and select your document.
    8. Click Upload & Complete.
    9. Swipe your card at any printer to release your prints.
  4. Print From USB

    USB printing at an MPS Device directly works only with PDFs, JPG images, and TIFF file types. To print word documents or other file types from a USB, convert the files to the approved file types and plug it into a University workstation.

    1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the MPS device.
    2. Log into the device.
    3. You will be asked to select the account to charge for the print job. Select either "personal" or "shared" account to designate what the print charge should go to. If you only have access to your personal account, choose "Personal."
    4. From the Main Menu, tap Print from USB.
    5. Select the document(s) to print. Tap Choose Print Settings to continue.
    6. Tap Start to begin printing.
    7. When finished, tap the Logout button at the top of the screen. To go to the Main Menu and use a different function, tap Home.
  5. Add Funds to Your Card

    When a card is depleted of funds, it is possible to add more using a credit card.

    1. Go to https://www.seattleu.edu/eaccounts
    2. Click Make a guest deposit.

    3. For the Last/Family Name, enter guest card.
    4. For the SU ID#, use the number printed on the back of the card
    5. Click Contribute.

    6. Under Deposit Information, select One Card
    7. Enter the desired Deposit Amount
    8. Click Next.
    9. Enter your payment information, then click Submit.
    10. Review the information and click Finalize Deposit.
    11. You can now enter email addresses if you’d like a receipt.
