Explore the Futures Labs Guide!

Inspired by the 2023 Racial Equity Summit's "Freedom Schools," Futures Labs will serve as incubators for further exploration and constructive imagining following the Keynote Address. Designed to foster deepened understanding, self-reflection, and skill building, these Labs will offer an engaging, educational, and empowering experience for Summit attendees. Facilitated by Seattle University faculty and staff, the Futures Labs will take the form of mini-learning circles, each exploring distinct topics in the spirit of Imagining an Inclusive Democracy. Two sessions will be offered so that Summit attendees can attend two different Futures Labs.
