Program Details

No, students will always be supported, regardless of their level of knowledge in each topic. However, students must be current ninth-grade students in order to apply.

Students earn college credit by successfully completing the programs they are enrolled in. Currently only AI4Equity and the Summer Business Institute are eligible for college credit. Partial credit is not awarded if a student does not attend all days of their program. Your grade will be based on your participation and final group presentation. The credits are included in your pre-collegiate program fee. Student may opt for credit/no-credit if they wish. To do so please connect with the Pre-College Coordinator, Aly Cotte.

Yes, meals and housing accommodations are included in the cost of the program. Students will be eating in the campus dining hall that offers dietary restrictions. Students will also be staying in our on-campus residence halls. A packing list will be provided to students.

One Program Advisor or "PA" are current SU students. PAs act as a mentor/counselor to students throughout the week. They will be available to students for class questions and during activity times.

We will provide activities for students to participate in when not in class. PAs and the Pre-College Team will offer team building, outdoor activity, and a nightly fun, such as a campus scavenger hunt, movie night, and bonfire.

Admission decisions are posted to your Seattle University Admission Portal. However, once a decision is made about your application, you will receive an email asking you to check your portal.

Once you're accepted you will need to confirm your acceptance of the decision inside of the portal. Then you will need to complete your registration paperwork and pay your deposit by May 31, 2024. You can find more information about the steps on the Admitted Students.

To view any scholarship awarded open the Admission Response Form. Click "yes" to prompt the programs you were admitted too. Once you click on each program the remaining cost will populate. Note: You do not need to submit your decision in order to view the remaining cost. To fully submit your Admission Decision you will need to click "submit" at the bottom of the form.

No! It is free to apply to our Pre-College Programs. Once you have been admitted and choose to enroll there is a $50 non-refundable deposit and then any remaining programs fees.
