This page contains helpful information about the process of applying to a pre-college program at Seattle University, as well as how to apply for a scholarship.

Apply to a Pre-College Program

We’re thrilled you’re interested in applying to Pre-College Summer programs!

To start the application process, you’ll need to create an account as a first-time user (or login with your Seattle University Admissions account, if you already have one). Once your account has been activated, you will have the option to create a new application.

You don't need to complete your application in one go. It's important to provide an email address that you check on a regular basis so you can return to your application at any time.

Apply for Summer Programs

Applications opening soon!

Applications and information on Summer 2024 programs will be available beginning Winter 2024.

Application Tips and Timeline

There are two essay questions on the application:

  • Why are you interested in participating in your selected program(s)? For example, what inspires you to explore the field of machine learning? What aspect of the criminal justice system do you want to learn more about? Was there a class/teacher that helped you find a passion for marketing?
  • Provide a brief description of your community service experiences. We encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility for their community. Please share how you have given back through community service.

Additionally, While it is not required, there is a section to provide an Activity Resume.

  • April 2024: Application Priority Deadline
  • May 2024: Admission decisions sent to all applicants who completed their application by the priority deadline
  • May 2024: Enrollment confirmation deadline for priority deadline applicants
  • After an admissions decision is made, you will receive an email from Seattle University Admissions notifying you that there has been a change to your application status. To view the decision, sign into your application status portal.

To be considered for a scholarship, simply fill out the scholarship section of the application completely. Applicants must be a resident of the United States or attending a school in the United States.
