Student Health Center

The mission of the Student Health Center at Seattle University is directed toward enhancing levels of wellness and empowering students to be self-directed in their own care. In addition, these college years are seen as a unique window of opportunity where health care providers can influence health promoting life-style behaviors. 

In conjunction with the philosophy of the University, the Student Health Center seeks to uphold the key Jesuit, Catholic values which include teaching and learning, education for values, preparation for service, and growth of persons. With these values in mind, health care providers recognize each interaction with students as a learning and teaching opportunity, a chance to role model respect and service to others, and an opportunity to build relationships. 

The Seattle University Student Health Center commits itself to the individual needs of each student, embraces persons of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and honors the differences and talents of each student. 

If you have a complaint or concern regarding your experience with the Student Health Center, please contact Gabrielle Gardner, the Clinic Manager for the SHC.
