Sample Plan for New Students

This example assumes that you enter Seattle University with junior standing (90 credits), have earned a transferable associate degree, and have successfully completed the following:

  • Earned a transferable associate´s degree
  • A full year of General Chemistry, Calculus, and Calculus-based Physics

If you have already taken a full year of Organic Chemistry, then your junior year will be devoted to completing Math and Physics
requirements and you will need to take CHEM 3000 and CHEM 4985 in Fall quarter. CHEM 3510/11 and CHEM 3520/21 will replace Organic
Chemistry in the Winter and Spring quarters.

Courses from your college/university that are not in the Guide may have equivalencies in SU’s course catalog. All courses on your incoming transcript will be evaluated for equivalencies after admission to SU.
