As we watch the devastating scenes coming out of Southern California, our thoughts are with all who are impacted by the wildfires, particularly those members of the Seattle University family who reside in or have ties to the region.
Support for Our Non-Citizen Students
Today is the Feast of the Epiphany. For members of our community who trace their roots to Latin America, the celebration of the Three Kings is a day for giving gifts and spending time with family.
Seattle University and Cornish College of the Arts Announce Intent to Join Together
I am pleased to announce that Seattle University and Cornish College of the Arts have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to join together, with Cornish becoming Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University.
Thanksgiving Message
In a few days, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. It can seem incongruous to express gratitude at a time when many people are not feeling particularly happy with the state of the world. But the practice of giving thanks becomes more (not less) essential in challenging times.
