Support for Students, Alumni, Friends and Loved Ones in Southern California

Dear Seattle University Community,

As we watch the devastating scenes coming out of Southern California, our thoughts are with all who are impacted by the wildfires, particularly those members of the Seattle University family who reside in or have ties to the region.

I know that Dean of Students James Willette has sent a message to students encouraging those who are affected by the wildfires to contact his office. I would reiterate that if you are a student in need of assistance, whether it's academic, emotional or logistical, please reach out to the Office of the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@seattleu.edu or Care Team for resources available to support you during this difficult time.

As the fires continue to rage and the destruction mounts, let us pray for the safety of the people in Southern California and for the strength they will need in the days ahead to recover from this disaster.
