Admission Requirements

  1. A minimum of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  2. A motivation to achieve personal and professional growth

I. Required Courses

Three required courses (10 credits) Credits
BETH 5120: Business Ethics and Social Responsibility 3
MBA 5011: Teams, Leadership and Decision-Making 4
Choose one of the following two courses: 3
GBUS 5310: Global Management  
MGMT 5345: Managing Diversity  

II. Electives

Choose TWO from the following courses: (6 credits) Credits
GBUS 5310: Global Management* 3
MGMT 5325: Adventure-Based Leadership Seminar 3
MGMT 5345: Managing Diversity* 3
MGMT 5365: management of Change 3
MGMT 5380: Negotiation Skills 3
MGMT 5910: Special Topics 3
MGMT 5960: Independent Study 1-3

Other MGMT or Albers Graduate courses may be used as Electives with the approval of the MBA Program Director.

NOTE: *May count as elective if not used for requirement

Requirement for certificate: 16 credits

  • Current students should speak to their adviser about adding a certificate.
  • New students need to apply for the certificate program as a regular student via our Application page.
    • Once you are accepted you may start the next available term.
    • After being accepted you must attend an advising orientation.
  • Length of program depends on when classes are being offered and how many you wish to take per term. Not all classes are offered every year/quarter. Speak to your adviser to get the most up-to-date schedule for the academic year.
