Andrea Verdan is an associate teaching professor in the College of Science and Engineering and is a part-time associate director in the center. An alum of Seattle U, she received bachelor degrees in Humanities and Chemistry. She completed her doctorate at Clemson University, with research focusing on chemistry education. She joined the Seattle U faculty in 2012.
